French coach Bobbie Goulding is being investigated by the Rugby League International Federation after drunken behaviour at an awards dinner on Monday night.

The former Great Britain half back Goulding was seen abusing senior officials and journalists after the awards dinner.

At one stage during the night Goulding was restrained by French captain Olivier Elima after ‘lunging unprovoked’ at an Australian journalist website stuff.co.nz has reported.

Goulding has a three year contract to coach France.
