Boy leads the motion picture pack at this year's Qantas Film and Television Awards, with 13 nominations including Best Feature Film, Best Director and Best Actor.
Taika Waititi's hit film set box office records, and appears to be as loved by the critics as much as audiences.
Eleven-year-old James Rolleston picked up a nomination for Best Actor, while Waititi got nods for Best Director, Best Supporting Actor and Best Screenplay.
Gaylene Preston's Home By Christmas picked up 10 nominations, and Under The Mountain, six.
The TV nominations were announced yesterday, with TV3 picking up all three nominations for Best News or Current Affairs Presenter – Hilary Barry & Mike McRoberts (together), John Campbell and Sunrise's Carly Flynn.
TV3's Outrageous Fortune dominated the drama categories with 11 nominations, including Best Drama Programme, Best Script, a Best Actress nod for Siobhan Marshall (Pascalle West) and Best Actor for Kirk Torrance (Wayne Judd), among others.
All three nominees for Best Comedy are TV3 shows – 7 Days, The Jaquie Brown Diaries and Pulp Sport.
