Papakura has New Zealands youngest civilian murder, and now looks as though they may have N.Z youngest cop killer. The system there must be shorthanded or ilogically operated. Why are there so many murders these days?. Why does the media only report a fraction of them. It happens almost every day, and I only pray we never get used to it, Why should we!!!

We lived next door to Denis for nearly 3 years, he was such a nice guy, always loved to chat and watch the league across the road on the weekend, he was a great neighbour always looked out for our place when we went away on holiday, and thus we did the same for him. Such a waste to see such a good mans life taken in this way, and I hope whoever committed this awful crime gets put away for life.

Another piece of ignorance and greed that has led to several dozen lives being ruined. But who is surprised? The teenager has almost certainly committed multiple crimes over the years, and has almost certainly been let off with slaps on the wrist. Jump on youth crime as soon as it happens, impose real punishments, and lock away the recidivists for life. Society does not want to pay for these scum to walk the streets - I'd rather pay for them to be locked away.

mostly likely at that age he will only get 14 year in prison the very most come on new Zealand we can do better than that i believe that murders should get a prison sentence starting of with 18 years to life in prison with out parole we should get rid of parole life should mean life not bloody 14 years or so
