It’s been a long time between Rugby World cup drinks for New Zealand, but last night all that was forgotten as the all Blacks lifted the Webb Ellis Cup.

France hit the ground running, and many pundits would not have picked the final 8-7 scoreline.

It was a case of a brave France up against an All Blacks side that was resilient in defence.

Laurence edwards: Why on earth would "we" have thought it would be a walkover on the French? Clearly you don't know much about rugby football.

I reckon the real winners were the sports journalists (print, radio, TV) who got to sit high in the stands watching all 24 games. They didn't pay a cent for their seats. In fact, they got paid handsomely to watch some great rugby. What a job! How do ordinary citizens get into that lurk? I'll look on Google for the answer.

So far from Home but right there with you all, From PERTH Western Australia..at our Home my sister & I watched the boy's nail biter game!! We were screaming So loud..you should have heard us from there..I know my Cousin & their Crew finished work early yesterday so they could get back to camp to watch the Game too! We gave 80min coaching advice to the T.V screen while being frustrated by turn overs & the not so easy walk over on the French we thought it would be..BUT never mind because the result was magnificant..a win is a win anyday of the week, & also the best Birthday Present my Eldest daughter Savanah..16y.o yesterday could have asked for. Well done to Graham Henry & the coaching team, & Many thanks to Ritchie & the boys for pulling that one out of the bag...You are the greatest & worthy to stand & be counted amongst the All black legends of Yesteryear..God Bless you all, Kia Kaha. from the Edwards Family, the Cuzzzie Bro's & Kiwis in W.A...LOL crowing rights for next 4 years..sweet!

OMG i'm soooo happy that the All Blacks won last night i was screaming at the tv sooo loud ahaha and when the game finished i was out of my seat screaming YAY THE ALL BLACKS WON THE RUGBY WORLD CUP 2011 :)
