New Zealand cricketer Jesse Ryder is causing problems for his neighbours in Kelson, Lower Hutt where he moved a month ago.

Ryder is said to have ‘had loud drunken parties every weekend from Thursday till Sunday,’ neighbour Natalie Stratmore told The Dominon Post.

Ms Stratmore said that after drinking visitors at Ryder’s $690,000 home vomited onto the driveway Ryder and Ms Stratmore share, urinated against a fence and performed burnouts in the street.

Ryder was seen drinking by Ms Statmore but she said that Ryder apologised about the vomit.

The 25-year-old Ryder’s cricket career has been affected by alcohol and discipline problems including the time he cut his hand after he put it through a window after a drinking binge at a Christchurch bar.

Aaron Klee, Ryder’s manager said that his client was working hard on his fitness and that his personal life was his own business.

"I don't think there's any indication Jesse is drinking whether it's at all or anything like he has in the past," Mr Klee was quoted as saying in The Dominion Post.

Ryder is not playing in the current test series against Pakistan because of injury.

What a load of crap........this is Jesses personal life!!! And the reality is that the whole neighbourhood would have contacted noise control or the police if it was as bad as this stupid woman said!!!! That would be the first action you'd take...not go to the media...someone obviously thinks shes more important than she is and wants her own face in the paper!! If it was some "joe bloggs" who moved in next door and made too much noise you wouldn't ring the newspaper. Leave the poor guy alone.

Poor Ryder he's just another hostage of the great NZ booze culture. Ryder has every right to have booze parties, vomit on his driveway and urinate against a fence. He is recovering from injury - leave him to heal!

Sounds like par for the course with this thick head, talent on the pitch does not make a good human. This guy should grow up and become the role model our cricket playing youth look up to, not a role model for another generation of boozed yobos doing burnouts on public streets and vomitting everywhere coz they can't take their drink.

What a loud of crap, in his own house he had a beer, oh the humanity, what next? The All Blacks winning the world cup only to drink lemonade from the william because some uptight, stuck up individual thinks they should be the wiggles not the bloody ALL BLACKS! Ryder was not on tour and was not knocking out toilets so why oh why would this be given the time of day. I just hope that Ryder becomes New Zealands Warne, a god dam great player that leads the Black Caps to many victories with the off field antics of an Australlian Saint.
