Win or lose at next year's Fifa World Cup finals in South Africa the All Whites will walk away at least $11-million dollars in prize money.

Fifa announced the new World Cup champions will take home more than $40-million dollars from a pool of over $560-million to be split between the 32-teams.

The All Whites have already received an extra $1.4 million to help with preparations for the tournament which kicks of next June.

The Phoenix are also in line for a windfall.

Fifa has set aside $55-million to compensate clubs who lose players to World Cup commitments, and with the Wellington side having as many as seven players involved that could mean as much as $450, 000 dollars for the club.
