One of the women linked to Tiger Woods has unexpectedly pulled out of a press conference without telling her story.

But the golfer isn't out of the woods just yet - with claims of an affair with a third woman, he's now being nicknamed 'Cheater', and seemingly has few places to run.

We were due to learn more from Rachel Uchitel about her relationship with Woods before she cancelled a planned news conference - but she is just part of the picture.

The 34-year-old nightclub hostess from New York initially denied an affair, but remains central to the scandal.

Jamie Grubbs, a 24-year-old cocktail waitress from Los Angeles, was quick to speak out, claiming she had a 31-month affair with the golfer.

And now a third woman has been named, 27-year-old Kalika Moquin, a marketing manager for a Las Vegas nightclub. She is rumoured to have met up with Woods several times.

The release of a message left on Grubbs' voicemail has fed the media frenzy. She is now avoiding the cameras.

The journalist who broke her story says she wanted to put her side first.

Another of those taking pot shots at Woods is his fellow golfer, Jesper Parnevik. Back in 2001 he introduced Woods to Elin Nordegren. They would marry three years later.

"I thought he was a better guy than he is then, and I would probably just have to apologise to her and hope she uses a driver next time, and not a three-iron, I would say," says Parnevik.

Woods didn't win any majors this year, but apparently he did major in infidelity. To save his marriage and image, Woods is reportedly renegotiating his pre-nuptial agreement to make further transgressions too costly to contemplate.
