Garth Stirrat has resigned from his role as chief executive of the Professional Golf Association of New Zealand.
Stirrat stood down on Friday after six years running the organisation.
Acting CEO Murray Clark said no official reason was given for Stirrat's departure other than he was "seeking greener pastures.”
A decision was still to be made over whether to seek a full time replacement.
"At the moment we're taking a breather to see what direction we want to go in before we make a decision," Clark said.
