4.3 shake felt 10km west of Porirua

A 4.3 earthquake has been felt 50 kilometres deep, 10 kilometres west of Porirua.

The quake was recorded with GeoNet at 5.27pm.

No major repercussions from the shake have been reported but it was felt widely and has left people feeling on edge.
