A representative for 50 Cent has assured fans the rapper is doing just "fine" following his Tuesday morning car crash, insisting he has already been released from hospital.
The ‘Candy Shop’ hitmaker, real name Curtis Jackson, was driving in Long Island, New York when his vehicle reportedly collided with a tractor trailer in the early hours of the morning.
According to Jackson's official website, first responders took the rap star to a medical centre in Queens after transferring him onto a stretcher and fitting him for a neck brace. A spokesperson for the star has since confirmed the news, revealing he's now in good health.
A statement released to MTV News reads, "Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson was involved in a car accident in New York early Tuesday morning. He was taken to New York Hospital Queens where he was treated for minor neck and back injuries. He was released this morning and is doing fine."
