Congrats single mum. I wonder how much less trouble teachers would have if they could discipline the horrendous little sh..ts they have to contend with now. How you discipline is your business but make sure kids are polite and respectful.Seems simple to me. When I was young if we got in trouble with teachers or the law we got really punished by our parents. Today too many parents are useless and don't support authority in any way.

I was raised in a abusive family and it was never a smack on the hand as such it was broken bone's and black eyes...I am a single mum of 6 and i do find it hard sometimes,i give my kid's a smack if and when needed but never would i beat them. For me being bought up in a violent home when i became a parent i had to teach myself how to discipline my children in a humane manor and for some people who were abused as children they don't know any better people need to educated and taught the difference between abuse and discipline.I am proud to say that my children a outstanding students and are very active within the community they respect me and other's and they were raised with a smack when needed they do not respect out of fear but love and so educate others..And as for the grandparents i can only say i wish i had grandparents like them around when i was a child growing up they clearly love their moko's and have a loving stable enviroment to raise them in....C.Y.F.S Pull your head out and take a better look....
