IQ tests were created about 100 years ago to satisfy the needs of the industrial age. They measure a limited range of logical / perceptive / analytical concepts. There are a limited number of questions in the inventory available to most instruments. As someone has pointed out, once you have been exposed to enough of these questions then you will know what the answers are.
