Touching story - and yes - family violence is not restricted to the lower socio-economic classes. Frequently, the higher levels are given more credibility and in some instances, can better disguise their violence - for example, a Doctor. The sentence does not fit the crime, and the settlement does not fit the victimisation at the hands of the controlling murderer. I would hate to think that a member of the judiciary, in the higher echelons, is looking after someone seen as being at a similar level within the hierarchy? Who is challenging the sentence?
