Vanuatu has been shaken by a powerful 7.5 magnitude earthquake this morning.
The quake was centred about 30 kilometres south of Port Vila and has been followed by two strong aftershocks measuring 5.6 and 5.9 in the same area.
Local media reports say a four-story office building housing the New Zealand High Commission suffered some minor damage in the quake.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Centre has ruled out a Pacific-wide tsunami.
