The race to be the US Democratic Party's presidential candidate has been an extraordinary affair.

Barack Obama against Hillary Clinton. Male against female. Black against white. Former first lady against junior senator from Illinois.

Obama is narrowly ahead, but Clinton should win the next state Pennsylvania. If she does not, she is gone, so she is visiting every small town where she might pick up another vote.

Campbell Live joined her in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, population 71,000 – about the size of Rotorua.
