A hero's welcome in Auckland

This morning, at Auckland Airport, it was hard to imagine a happier place to be.
A series of planes brought members of the New Zealand Olympic team home, and they received a hero’s welcome.
They gave their all and did their best and deserve to feel proud of their achievements, medal or not.

It’s a pity that members of the NZ Olympic Team, other than those winning medals were ignored in the Campbell Live story. After all everyone who represented NZ in London made huge sacrifices to get there.
