Rock superstars AC/DC played Wellington's Westpac Stadium last night to a thrilled mass of Kiwi fans.

The Black Ice Tour, promoting their 15th album, is one of the biggest and loudest rock shows ever to come to New Zealand, complete with towering walls of speakers and amplifiers, giant video screens, and hundreds of lights.

The band is playing in Auckland tonight to a crowd estimated to be in excess of 60,000.

Social Development Minister Paula Bennett was one of the thousands of fans that screamed and fist-pumped their way through the two hour-plus concert in Wellington.

Despite feeling "not very ministerial" this morning, Ms Bennett managed to summon the energy to talk to RadioLIVE's Marcus Lush about her experience at the concert.

Listen to Paula Bennett's AC/DC gig review.
