AC/DC's ongoing Black Ice tour has been named the second highest-grossing trek in rock history on a new Billboard magazine list.

After performing 168 shows to close to five million fans around the globe in the last two years, AC/DC's tour ranks second to the Rolling Stones' A Bigger Bang, which grossed US$558.3 million.

Billboard reports AC/DC played 28 Black Ice shows in 2008, 99 in 2009 and 40 concerts this year.
