This New York love story puts mental illness front and centre.
Adam (Hugh Dancy) suffers from Asperger Syndrome, and is grieving over the recent death of his father.
Beth (Rose Byrne) moves into his building, and she comes with her own set of problems.
Focusing primarily on the way human beings relate and communicate, this subtle film works on some basic levels, but strangely loses its way, sputtering across the finishing line.
Two and a half stars.
