British soul singer Adele's soap dreams are about to be realised - she has been offered to chance to appear on her favourite show Neighbours.

The ‘Rolling in the Deep’ hitmaker recently revealed she was a big fan and told a reporter she wanted to follow in the footsteps of fellow Brit Lily Allen - and make a cameo.

She says, "I love Neighbours and especially (veteran character) Harold. He plays the tuba, so I’d love to ask him to play on some of the tracks. In return I could do a cameo on Neighbours like Lily Allen did. But I have to overcome my fear of flying all that way first."

Word apparently travelled fast - Neighbours director Susan Bower has extended a warm invitation to Adele.

Bower tells DigitalSpy.com, "I can promise Adele she would receive a huge Neighbours welcome from all the cast and crew. We would love her to have some fun with us on Ramsay Street. I'm a huge fan and I know a number of the cast are also."
