Outrageous Fortune’s Antony Starr plays John, a young father and husband, working as a park ranger in a small, close, coastal community.

When his little daughter disappears, and the unthinkable nightmare of this story unfolds, we watch as his life is ripped asunder, and he loses everything he loves.

This is a really promising debut for writer/director Simone Horrocks, and while it lacked a little meat on its bones in parts, this exploration of grief, guilt and forgiveness is a very moving watch.

Three and a half stars.
