National carrier Air New Zealand will reintroduce a service to Bali later this year.

The route, between Auckland and Denpasar Airport, will operate twice-weekly during June and October but may be extended if it proves popular.

A Boeing 767-300, which can carry 228 passengers, will be used for the non-stop service which is scheduled to begin on June 20.
