I'm so sorry for your loss it is a great tradegy that has happened and people are always quick to judge whose to blame parents, police etc But we need our streets, drains etc safe for our children because kids are going to be kids no matter how much we try and protect them from the world there will be times where we might now be able to watch them like a hawk so if city council took complaints more seriously and acted on them then maybe this tradegy wouldn't of happened Our thoughts and prayers go out to Aislings parents, sister and extended family

How many hour's before she was drowned, was she drowned soon after her dissapearance or she was drown the night before she was found..???
Mother's should be with there toddler and guide them with there life through to the age of five, at least until the toddler goes to school with other children..
I experienced many cot death mainly 2 year old toddlers and a close friend's little girl at seven died of a grazed on her knee, the mother doesn't beleived in goverment help but her own indpendency, she was working solidly for seven year's..She promised to bring the little girl to meet me,she never arrived, but to reunited at the little girl's funeral ceremony..
Cannot bare to go further, god bless your parents Alisling and give them comfort..

Dear Aisling's Parents and family members. I am only 11 years old and can not bear to feel all your pain and misery you must be felling at this time in life. But i to have been threw this when I was just 5 years of age my little brother went missing at the age of 2 as well. we were not in New Zealand at the time, just on holiday in Australia, and to feel the pain when the officers could'nt find him after 5 days had passed. Was just unbearable, but the worst was to come, knowing my little brother he would just want to explore this new area, which he did. After the 6th day the police investigation team had come foward and said that they had found him, in a closet with rope around his body. How me and my family wanted to help, in some way any way that we could was just......I cant say that I feel your pain, I was just a sister he looked up to, but you were Aislings whole world, her life. When we found that she had been found in a storm drain was unbearable. Mine and many, many others thoughts are with you. We know you will never stop loving her and she will always be in your heart and that is all you need. for her to be by your side, you would have had so many good times more than bad times.

what does that say sure its sad but look after your kids. if the parents had been more focused on there 2year old this wouldnt have happened. and stop blaming police for not doing enough. they shouldnt have needed to do anything if aislings parents looked after her
