A vehicle has driven through a give way sign and hit a bus which then flipped on to its side and shunted off the road in Mossburn this morning.

The car involved was carrying three people, a 21-year-old male driver, and two other male passengers aged 17 and 16. The 21-year-old and the 17-year-old received moderate injuries and were transported to Southland hospital while the 16-year-old has more serious injuries and was flown to Southland Hospital by helicopter.
