Nearly seven years after it was first released, Microsoft’s Xbox 360 console has just had its biggest week of sales ever.
The gaming console sold 960,000 in the US during the week of Black Friday, with more than 800,000 sold within a 24 hour period.
More than 750,000 Kinect for Xbox 360 sensors were sold in the US during the same week, both as standalone units and bundled with console sales.
Recently released Xbox 360 exclusive titles include Gears of War 3, Forza Motorsport 4, Kinect Sports: Season Two and Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary.
The Xbox 360 was first released in 2005 and currently retails in New Zealand for around NZ$500.
