Why don't you just leave the guy alone? If you listen to the tone of his voice when he was saying those things you can tell he wasn't out to get her, he was simply stating the sad truth of the matter. Besides who said the girl was comatose? She can hardly say that and anyone who saw it happening should have had the decency to make sure she was alright and safe.

Good on Andy,he is dead right, these sluts that put themselves about and then cry foul only because there may be some money in it, deserve to be the victims of real rapists.

Letsthink - you are thinking like a rapist. There is no excuse for Robin Brookes behaviour, and those who offer reasons for the fault being the girls show typical rapist thinking.

You have to agree with some ways n what Haden has said about women targeting anyone famous, whether they be rugby stars, movie stars, models etc. You have women out there that do exactly that. They wanna get right in there with the famous, they drink with them, they play there games and flirt like mad to get them. They do instigate that behaviour, then next...they cry fowl play. What are women really thinking when they are going out? Just a couple of drinks with your mates, YEAH RIGHT!!! They are out to look for that man...if they havent already got one. So dont get all snooty about the next morning cause you cant remember the man next to you, being to wasted cause you did just get free drinks for your flirting and a good nite out. If you dont want that to happen...dont got out getting wasted, drink moderately and look after yourself. After all it is you that makes those decisions. No one else!!! LADIES!!

good comment toby. haden's comments in no way reflect the thinking of kiwis. it is terrible that national party authorities kept him as a RWC ambassador for this long. i wonder how relaxed john key is now?

Toby: you have hit the nail on the head there. I hate it when they say "he’s just saying what kiwis think"I am a Kiwi, and think Mr. Haden’s comments were completely inappropriate and endorsed rape. Not only were they inappropriate, he is a dinosaur with Dark Age’s views. We have moved into the millennium, Haden still is in the 50s.Hopefully they have learned from this mistake and engage someone more suitable for the role. I have an idea, how about employing a woman ambassador. Perhaps someone from the silver ferns? Come on NZ rugby be brave

congratulations tv3 on this story. You took what he said completely out of context, wrapped it the way you wanted to, and continued your stance of creating news stories where there are none. Then you wonder why he wouldn't talk to you and ignored your constant harassment by reporters.

I can't believe those who say haden speaks what all kiwis think. he only says what rapists think. Its exactly the same sentiment that Joseph Thompson expressed in court. And those who agree with him should be ashamed.
