There were several major meltwater pulses between 20000 and 8000 years ago. Sea level rise rates of up to 100m in 500yrs, peaking at up to a foot per year rise. Of course we have increased greenhouse gases and triggered rates of temp rise that are 1000x more than anything in millions of years. The PETN event 50 million years ago is the only known event of simular size increase in atmospheric carbon as we have already achieved in 200 years. But that was over a 20000 year period. And boosted global temps by over 20F. We are heading for no Ice on the earth, and over 300ft higher sealevels. It will happen at far faster rates than anyone is yet admitting. All we don't know is when the rapid change period will really begin, and exactly how fast the change will be. Its looking like very soon indeed and much faster than anything in millions of years are fair answers to those ones.

The people (naive one's) who will believe anything thrown in front of them might as well re-read the Old & New Testaments and agree that the earth is around 8000 yrs old.
Remember, the Dark Ages all come from the Christian’s total belief in this sort of trash The Churches ruled with iron fists murdering people who were slightly different (for one excuse or another) with their beloved Hyena like Politicians pillaging money off the naive believing peasants while being rich and powerful with their buddies.
After all, there was a post on here a few months ago regarding Al Gore’s unfounded propaganda, to which someone referring to it as her new bible!!!

A denialist is someone who is not sceptical of the proposition that the scientific consensus is a global conspiracy, if only in the area of climate change (and maybe also biology). A lot of denialists call themselves sceptics. To do that is to pile misrepresentation on top of arrogant stupidity.
