Scooters, kayaks and jet boats are high on the Christmas popularity list in 2011, but the wishlist is still topped by anything with an "i" in front of it.
IPods, iPhones and iPads are still the most popular Christmas searches on Trade Me, but scooters and jet boats appear on the top 10 for the first time, at three and 10 respectively.
Kayaks also figure at number seven, having reached the list for the first time last year, spokesman Paul Ford says.
"We're also seeing strong activity in water-skiing and wakeboarding, and it's good to see this attention for high adrenaline sport matched by strong interest in wetsuits and lifejackets too," he said.
"People wrestling with what to buy their loved ones should take note that socks, handkerchiefs and soap-on-a-rope are nowhere to be seen."
The second-most popular item is New Zealand designer clothing by Karen Walker or Trelise Cooper, while another clothing line, Country Road, makes the list at nine.
Dogs, lego, trampolines and barbecues also make the list.
