DoC staff have moved Aragorn from the Maitai River before, but he keeps coming back

He first made headlines for attacking a woman as she kayaked on Nelson's Maitai River.

Now Aragorn the mute white swan is in trouble again.

The Department of Conservation has had complaints from locals that Aragorn is behaving aggressively.

He has been hissing at people and chasing small children.

So is Aragorn’s loneliness driving him to behave badly or is he simply a menace?

Interesting the poeple of Christchurch are still struggeling with broken homes and broken promises and yet we "celebrate" all the work being done to create a commercial site, to get them spending money agian. Would like to see that much constuction and energy going into fixing poeples homes first as promised by the large sized goverment man that only shows his face when it suits.
