When labour were in they were fudging the figures big time. They were pushing people into sickness beneficiarydom instead of unemploymentdom so the unemployment figures didn't look so bad. National has had to come in and sort it all out. that is why sickness beneficiaries felt like they were being targetted for a while there as a lot of people should not have been lodged as sickness beneficiaries. Who ever is in government is going to make the figures work for them, at the end of the day to the average person, it doesn't matter what the figures are, all they care about is whether they have a job or not.

Who knows what the future will bring Warren. Perhaps yourself or someone in your family will be laid off in the middle of a recession making it hard to find quality re-employment. This was in fact the reality for many NZers not that long ago. Through no fault of your own (unless you vote for government that signs free trade agreements, ie National and Labour) you may be left with nothing to pay the bills and the mortgage for a period until you are able to get back on your feet. Then you may be more inclined to be empathic rather than ranting like an angry idiot.

A lot of the reason we have so many people who seem to have lost the will to succeed in life are largely due to losers like you Bradford. Isn't it true that before you found the easy money as an MP you spent virtually all your early life on welfare. This country has no show with your sort mouthing off and shit stirring all the time.
