Have you had your flu jab? If not, why not?
It is impossible to know how many people died of smallpox, but it would be well into the hundreds of millions. Killed by an infectious disease that vaccines eliminated from the world.
In 1918, between 50 million and 100 million people died of the flu.
Yesterday the nurse came to TV3 to give the staff their jabs and it had the Campbell Live office divided; to jab or not to jab?
Tristram Clayton was in one corner, Anna Burns-Francis in the other.
Tonight, they go head-to-head to find out whether it’s a virus worth its vaccine.

There is conflicting stories on the flu shot and the people receiving the flu shot are already vulnerable health wise and it could go either way for them, there bodies immunity is strong enough to tolerate it or it can be devastating to their health...people need to do their research before having this shot.

I didnt get the shot since the last one I had almost killed me. I spent 24 days in the hospital and almost died. The US Vaccine court agreed and settled with me. I never had the flu before and havent had it since. The seven days in bed wth the flu would have been better than 24 days in the hospital, 9 months of physical therapy and 4 years of no feeling in my legs.

When you read the research, you find flu jabs increase your resistance, on average, by up to 60%. They don't offer 100% protection, and sometimes no protection at all. Analysis of data from the 2009 swine flu outbreak actually showed increased risk of catching swine flu if you'd had a jab. "Secondly I was told by an undertaker that there busiest period is 6 weeks after the flu injections were started in any year. Can't back this statement up but maybe you can."
Still that doesn't necessarily mean the people who died had flu injections, for all one knows it simply means when the injections start thats when the flu season really kicks in.

I have had a flu jab every year for the last 15 years and have not had any side effects or contracted the flu. Polio, measles, diphtheria & chicken pox plus Tuberculosis have all but been eliminated from being serious annual
health risks to New Zealander's as a result of innoculations. The head in the sand attitude by individuals and parents put themselves and children at risk.
I can remember Polio outbreaks which resulted in deaths and crippling side effects, most of those who survived are now deceased. Beware of that of which you are ignorant.

I will not have the jab as firstly when I did when in my late twenties I had the worst flu attach I have ever experienced. Secondly I was told by an undertaker that there busiest period is 6 weeks after the flu injections were started in any year. Can't back this statement up but maybe you can.
