Are we doing enough to tackle youth crime?
Retired school teacher John Rowe, 78, was beaten to death with his walking sticks by 18-year-old Courtney Patricia Churchward, and 15-year-old Lori-lea Waiora Te Wini. Simon Gilmore, the partner of Mr Rowe's daughter Wendy, said the girls' trial had highlighted the need for discipline and self-discipline within families and young people.
