National president of the RSA Robin Klitscher says it is vital to remember those who sacrificed their lives in the war

People will be gathering at war memorials across New Zealand today to pay their respects to those lost in wars.
Today is Armistice Day, which marks the day the guns fell silent at the end of World War One in 1918.
Two minutes silence will be held at 11am.
National President of the RSA Robin Klitscher will be taking part in the service in Wellington and he says it is vital to remember those who sacrificed their lives.
Veterans will be taking part in the national ceremony in Wellington and laying wreaths at the National War Memorial.
