An Auckland woman says it is about time women felt comfortable enough with their bodies to go topless on public beaches, launching a Facebook facampaign to encourage women to bare their breasts.

Shannon Claire says male toplessness being okay, but female toplessness not, is a double standard.

Ms Claire says it’s time for us to follow European beaches into the light.

The 31-year-old has been sunbathing topless since she was 14-years-old. She says she is totally comfortable with her body, but this summer, Ms Claire has been copping flak from others who are not.

Instead of covering up, she has decided to take a stand, by starting a campaign for women to join her topless revolution.

But Family First New Zealand says there is no place for topless sunbathing on public beaches, and that it should be banned.

Skeeeter You need some help - you are really loaded with negative energy because something happened or going on in your life that you have difficulty to deal with...
They do have different anonymous self-help groups over there - try it... Good Luck.

Campbell Live will recall Labour Weekend 2008 when at the annual Conference Brian Tamaki called Destiny Church faithful to come to South Auckland to evangelise and build a Kingdom Church.

SUMMARY:
6000 Maori, Pakeha and Pacific are members of Te Oranga Ake Urban Iwi. Set up cost of around $2m. $1m from Pacificare Hospital now in receivership and $1m from IRD via Mangere Community HUB Trust non payment of PAYE.
NO ACCOUNTABILITY

NO URBAN IWI funding due to NO ACCOUNTABILITY

WHY no DISCLOSURE by DESTINY and TE ORANGA AKE?

WILL GOD BLESS THE MESS? Brian Tamaki says NO! BUT What of the following mess his organisations created?

At the same Labour Weekend Conference Bishop Brian launched Te Oranga Ake as the Destiny Church Maori Urban Iwi under the Leadership of George Ngatai as CEO. George Ngatai was closely tied to the Tamaki’s ambitions to control their ancestral Marae at Te Kopua, south of Te Awamutu and had stood for Otara Ward in Local Authority Elections along with Richard Lewis as Leader of the Family Party. (1)

o Destiny Church offers no fiscal transparency or accountability to its membership or the Public and no doubt could not explain to Willie Jackson (mob 0274356799) as Chair or John Tamahere as EO of the Maori Urban Iwi Authority how Te Oranga Ake as a $2m organisation was established.

We are such a PC country compared to most others its almost embarrassing explaining to people from other nationalities what we as New Zealanders deem to be immoral. Just because someone is uncomfortable with the human body does that mean we all must conform to these medieval values. Most of us when born are naturally breast fed since humans have walked the earth so why do we hypocritically object to bare breasted women in public?
