Australia’s Olympic campaign was given a boost as they won their 3rd and 4th gold medals over night. They now sit 11th on the table.

It follows a shocking start to the games, which has forced our trans-Tasman neighbours to lower their expectations.

Just days ago New Zealand had more gold medals than Australia.
