Australia is again under the threat of bushfires and warnings have been issued for Victoria as temperatures are expected to reach record highs for November.
 
The first total fire bans of the season have been declared in north and central Victoria, and residents are being warned to have their bushfire plans in place.
 
The Herald Sun website says the heatwave is expected to extend through to the weekend and early into next week, with temperatures of up to 45 degrees.
