Supermodel Miranda Kerr has joined the fight to save the job of a Macquarie Bank broker who was caught on live television looking at pictures of her in nothing but underwear.

David Kiely became a worldwide internet hit after opening emailed pictures of the lingerie model while a colleague was doing a live interview on Channel 7’s equivalent of the 3 News' nightly sharemarket report.

Meanwhile, another video naughty in Australia involves Darwin police.

A disgruntled customer fire-bombed an insurance company in Darwin. He ignited a shopping trolley full of petrol cans and fireworks in the office – nineteen people were injured and five are still in hospital.

Today the 45-year-old appeared in court charged with nine counts of attempted murder. But just before this happened, it was revealed that security cameras – which could have been used to stop the bomber – were switched off.

CCTV monitors at Darwin’s police station were reportedly turned off after officers used them to look at school girls.
