An autopsy's being carried out in attempts to establish the cause of death of a four-month-old baby boy in Morrinsville overnight.
Officers were called to an address in Gummer Place early this morning.
Police say they're focusing on establishing the circumstances leading up to the death.
The family is being offered help from Victim Support.
