The country's two leading supermarket chains, Progressive Enterprises and Foodstuffs, have pulled several brands of baby wipes off their shelves after discovering that they contain the restricted chemical IPBC.

It's currently banned in a range of products after being linked to allergic skin conditions.

The products removed include two of Progressive's own labels and the brands Woolworths Homebrand, Select, Precious and Silk.

Customers who have bought the baby wipes will be offered refunds.

If you can make the time ( highly worthwhile ), you can make your own chemical free wipes using Almond oil, Lavender Oil, Chamomile tea, hot water and cutting up scotch brite clothes. Easy & saves money.

I have had allergy attacks during April and May but pkts were the same used each time . any help on this subject would be of great help to me personally .
