The All Blacks had a one day camp in Christchurch today ahead of their final Tri-Nations tests against the Springboks and Wallabies.
The vexed lineout and sorting out the midfield were top of the agenda, after their failed game plan in Durban.
The problems in South Africa came from the All Blacks fear of the Springboks lineout. They ran the ball at all costs because they were worried about how much ball they would have to attack with.
Coach Graham Henry says if they do not improve on this, the next test will be very difficult for the All Blacks.
The All Blacks also have to sort out their midfield after the injuries to Luke McAlister and Conrad Smith. They ran through the options today including Ma’a Nonu and Isaia Toeava at centre, while Daniel Carter and Stephen Donald alternated in the five eighths.
The All Blacks will be hoping the Wallabies win on the weekend, keeping alive their chances of a fifth straight Tri-Nations title.
