This England outfit's almost unrecognisable from the bedraggled individuals of four years ago.

Better fielders, they've also outbowled the team now being dubbed the saggy greens.

With 24 wickets, Anderson was the standout bowler but one of a unit, and England outclassed with the bat, Australia's bright spots few and far between.

Smith's 50 too little too late against an England side bidding farewell to Paul Collingwood, its only batsman not to perform.

Better supported, England were also better led and the better team.

You don't need to be a lip-reader to see that Australia need changes from bottom to top.

England, currently 3rd in the world rankings, hope to continue the celebrations back home, their next aim is to knock over the world's number one side India when they meet in July.
