Banks accused of lying, again

ACT leader John Banks has been accused in parliament of lying about the
donations he received for his failed 2010 Auckland mayoralty campaign.
Labour MPs on Tuesday targeted the government over the donations scandal,
asking how Prime Minister John Key could still have confidence in Mr Banks.
Police last week announced they weren't going to charge Mr Banks after
investigating the donations he received, which were described in his election
return as coming from anonymous donors.
Mr Banks has a support agreement with the government and holds ministerial
Labour's Grant Robertson asked Deputy Prime Minister Bill English: "Is the
standard that he is now setting for participation as a minister in his
administration that lying is OK so long as he can get away with it?"
He followed that up with: "Can the minister confirm that he retains
confidence in ministers who lie?"
Mr English said the test was whether the police decided to prosecute, and
they had not.
"It's not the intention of this government to lower itself to the standards
of the previous government where regular recklessness with the truth was almost
a qualification to be a minister," he said.
Mr Banks received a $50,000 donation from piracy accused Kim Dotcom and
$15,000 from Sky City for his mayoral campaign.
He sought the donations but they were described as anonymous in the election
return prepared by an ACT Party worker.
Police said there was insufficient evidence to lay charges under local
government election laws.

When will kiwis realize that all M.Ps are claiming so much benefit with retirement package which is funded by manipulating everyone elses superannuation, and kiwi saver as if it was their own to play with.
Ohh look, we used it to buy a chain of gas stations, which we will then sell off,[which MPs managed to write themselves into personal business deals], and good luck with any long term profit here.. sorry, only the MPs personal interests made one.. too bad for everyone else. Kiwis are suckers.

Get over it already!!!! The thing that upsets me the most is that we, Tax payers, pay these idiots salaries. I refer to all Ministers, both left and right and in between. This is like little school kids who cannot get their own way and will carry on and on forever. Labour continues knocking everything National does or proposes, yet come up with no alternatives. Us as voters are actually left with no alternative, but to vote for National. Rather the Devil you know……..Come on all Ministers, stand up and be counted and give us the people who pay your salaries some value for money.

LOL Phil Heatley, Pansy Wong, Bill English, John Key... what do they have in common? all ministers that have been caught out in major lies.
Lets not even pretend that this government is better than they are pretending to be.
John Key has been caught out in more lies than any former Prime Minister that I know of.
Infact John Key kind of reminds me of Richard Nixon.... lies to your face and says something completely different behind your back
Someone ask him about the elderly. ask him if he thinks they are dying fast enough for his liking.
