Banks offer 'Novopay overdrafts'

All the retail banks in New Zealand have banded together to give unpaid teachers a Christmas present.

They are offering Novopay-afflicted teachers an interest-free overdraft.

The overdraft offer lasts until January 15 and covers the amount the teachers’ salaries should be.
