The Denver suburb of Aurora is asking residents what should be done with the movie theatre where 12 people were shot to death last month and 58 others were wounded.
The city's Facebook page directs residents to an online survey. Responses are not visible on the website, but suggestions from Facebook users range from tearing the Century 16 theatre down and replacing it with a memorial to reopening the theatre, perhaps with a new name.
The survey was reported by KMGH-TV.
A spokeswoman for theatre owner Cinemark Holdings declined to comment. The theatre hasn't reopened since the July 20 shooting.
Former PhD student James Holmes is charged with murder and attempted murder. He is being held without bail.
