The man accused of murdering 13-year-old Christchurch girl Jade Bayliss will appear in court today.

Thirty-four-year-old Jeremy McLaughlin faces a raft of charges including murder, arson and burglary-related offences.

Another man will appear next week for allegedly assisting McLaughlin to avoid arrest.
