They're being described as 'Oasis without Noel', and the band Beady Eye is pretty much just that.

The tumultuous band Oasis called it a day 18 months ago when singer-songwriter Noel Gallagher suddenly left.

For the members left behind a new project was the next logical step, one without the brotherly barneys.

But the release of their debut album comes with a warning for loyal fans: the old anthems won't be revisited, 'cause that would be "disrespectful".

Beady Eye are currently touring Europe and will head to America later this year. No word yet if they'll make it down our way.

Check out the video for the full story and samples from their new single, 'The Roller'.
