On close inspection of the act , and a phone call with the privacy commissioner I found that NZ Citizens dont have any legal rights to privacy or even the right to request disclosure from corporations about their personal information.There a lot of sub-clauses that cancel out the whole act.1993.2004

Bennett breached the privacy act, she should subjected to the laws surrounding it. Bennett should be sacked and asked required to offer a public apology to that solo mum. What a nasty B***h.
