Beyonce has broken her silence after becoming a first-time mum at the weekend, revealing her natural birth was "emotional and extremely peaceful" and "the best experience" of her life.
The ‘Crazy In Love’ hitmaker and husband Jay-Z became proud parents to Blue Ivy on Saturday, and the happy couple has now spoken movingly about her birth and thanked fans for their well wishes.
In a joint statement on Beyonce's website, the couple states, "Life just got REALLY good. We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.
"Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven. She was delivered naturally at a healthy 7 lbs and it was the best experience of both of our lives.
"We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support."
