From independent filmmaker Jessey Tsang comes Big Blue Lake, the story of an actress returning home to redeem her past sins.
Most of the film is shot at Tsang’s home village of Ho Chung, a small, quiet rural area that is rarely seen in Hong Kong.
One of the most acclaimed Hong Kong independent films of 2011, Big Blue Lake has been screened at film festivals around the world, and Tsang was nominated for the Best New Filmmaker award at the Hong Kong Film Awards for her work.
