Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth and Anthrax are teaming up again for one US Big Four date on the site of the Coachella Festival.

The metal groups will come together on 23 April for an outdoor supergig at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.

The four acts first banded together last year for seven acclaimed shows across Europe.

Official website thebig4festival.com claims the Indio show is the only time the four bands will be performing on the same stage in America.
